JVS announces program that helps women identify work-related interests and skills, prepare resumes, practice interviewing and networking and launch a job search.

JVS Human Services will offer the Facilitating Career Development Course, a 10-week training program beginning January 8 in Southfield for individuals working in career development.

In recognition of the upcoming America Recycles Day, Flagstar Bank worked with eCycle Opportunities to provide a free way for community members to safely and securely recycle electronics to protect the environment.

The Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Program (Brown Program) is hosting a dementia-friendly High Holiday service 11:00 a.m., Sunday, September 16.

JVS’s electronics recycling division, eCycle Opportunities (ECO), has been awarded a $10,000 grant from ITC. The grant will allow ECO to recycle televisions and CRT monitors at no cost to the public.

JVS will offer a 10-week training program beginning September 13 in Southfield for individuals working in career development. The Facilitating Career Development Course is based upon 12 professional competency areas outlined by the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
