Leah Rosenbaum, JVS president and CEO, is pleased to welcome Sandy Schuster as chief development officer for the Southfield-based agency.

Schuster will lead JVS fundraising and development efforts and will serve on the agency’s executive management team. With over 17 years of nonprofit development experience, Schuster will oversee JVS’s signature fundraising events, Strictly Business and Trade Secrets. She will also be responsible for the agency’s Annual Fund, endowment and major gifts initiatives.

An Oak Park resident, Schuster most recently served as director of development for Pewabic Pottery, a ceramic art pottery non-profit based in Detroit. Previously, she was director of development for the Detroit Historical Society.
